Exciting Easter Events at the Fusilier Museum Warwick

The programme will run from 10am till 5pm through the Easter holidays from Saturday 1st April through until Saturday 15th April excluding Sunday 9th April.

This Easter the Fusilier Museum Warwick is offering fun activities for the whole family.  The new museum only opened two months ago has a rich display of objects from 350 years of regimental history, interactives and touchscreens with quizzes and puzzles. There is also a recreated World War 1 display which provides the smells and the sounds of a World War 1 trench.

The fun filled programme of special events starts with entertainment from local  re-enactment group The Royal Warwickshire Regiment WW2 Living History Group on Saturday 1st April and 15th April. They will be engaging visitors throughout the day and sharing knowledge about the regiment for all to enjoy.

Especially for this Easter, there is a Bobby Easter Hunt competition with the chance to win chocolate egg prizes. Following the success of the Bobby drawing competition in February half term, there will also be a Great Easter Egg Art Competition art with a chance to win a Bobby cuddly toy as the star prize. This, plus a number of other quizzes and treasure hunts around the galleries means there is plenty of fun things to do for all the family.

All this is part of the museum’s standard admission fees which help the museum to keep telling the regiment’s stories.

And finally - The museum shop will be stocking some very special chocolate soldiers and chocolate grenades which you will not find in any other shop!
